Yavuz Açikalin, Trinity ’14, Researches Marketing to Monkeys

University Scholar and third year undergraduate, Yavuz Açikalin, was featured on the Duke Research Blog for his research in the Platt Lab on whether branding can influence monkey reward preferences.  Yavuz’s independent research project draws on his knowledge developed through his double major in Economics and Neuroscience,  which is providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation for his interest in the emerging field of neuroeconomics.
