The annual case competition allows teams of 5 undergraduate students to work together to solve a case related to health policy. Each team will be matched with a mentor and have the opportunity to present. Students will create applicable solutions to real-world problems and teams’ solutions will be judged by distinguished individuals from multiple disciplines.
The competition has historically received support from Duke Consulting Club, the Duke-Margolis Center, the Global Health Institute, RTI International and other organizations. Event winners often go on to assist with planning future case competitions and have secured opportunities in policy, consulting, medicine and more.
