Democratic Accountability and Linkages Project (DALP)

This research project has been initiated and is carried out by a group of investigators in the Political Science Department at Duke University.

Note: DALP II data collection was completed in 2024, with 94 couuntries. Public release of the data will occur 24 months after the collection. Dossiers summarizing the main country- and party-level results are already available.

The first wave of 2008-2009 expert surveys (DALP I)  involved data collection in more than 80 countries. You can download the previous survey from this web page and access the codebook for DALP I.
