Just picked up the Joby GripTight smartphone tripod adapter for less than $15 online. It’s super compact and lets you easily mount your phone to any standard tripod – while keeping your case on your phone. I know there are tons of solutions on the market for this, but this seems like a great idea for many types of phones and folds flat when not in use.
