Dante’s Library is an ongoing, collaborative project, that seeks to recreate Dante’s world – from works of art and notable architectual sites to classical texts and their manuscript forms – that were part of Dante’s cultural and intellectual heritage. Blending textual and visual analysis, Dante’s Library links specific references from Dante’s texts to his material world, providing  essential explanations of texts and images as well as  potential leads for research projects.
