DUKE CANCER PATIENT EXPERIENCE RESEARCH PROGRAM (CPEP)

The more we understand patients’ experiences through their cancer journeys, the better we can make changes to optimize patient care.

The Duke Cancer Patient Experience Research Program (CPEP) develops innovations for measuring and improving upon the patient’s experience of illness. The CPEP program, located in the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI), is committed to improving quality of life and overall well-being for the many patients and families who face a cancer diagnosis each year. To do this, we work on an array of research projects, technological innovations, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives individually, as well as with partners from various institutions around the world. Our dedicated team strives to make positive, impactful quality of life improvements for cancer patients and their loved ones.
