Mastering Occupation-Centered Education- Level II: Hands-On Application

A 2.5-day workshop where educators apply the SCIL-OT model to their own courses, teaching processes, and learning materials.
$ 400 Per person (limited to 30 attendees)
  • Examples of cohesive occupation-centered course designs
  • Individual evaluation of opportunities to strengthen the visibility of occupation in course design and teaching
  • Small-group idea generation with colleagues who teach similar content
  • Access to the COTE online platform
  • Online resources and examples

Mastering Occupation-Centered Education Level III – Coaching for Ongoing Impact

A six-month group coaching experience to refine teaching strategies and address real-time challenges with occupation-centered education.
$ 3000 Per project
  • Monthly meetings with 10 colleagues for a deeper dive into occupation-centered learning and its challenges
  • Generate innovative solutions to real-time teaching challenges
  • One session of 1:1 coaching for particular challenges that are not addressed by the group

Mastering Occupation-Centered Education Level IV – Curriculum (Re)Design

Six months of consultation and coaching for program-level curriculum design or redesign
$ 6000 Per project
  • Goal setting and visioning
  • Six monthly virtual coaching visits with appropriate configuration of team members (e.g. full faculty, program director only, educators with specific content, fieldwork team)
  • Involves meeting specific benchmarks between coaching sessions
