We engage Duke faculty, post-doctoral fellows and students to support the launch of new companies with the goal of developing a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. This facility and program were made possible by a philanthropic gift to Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering and by additional funds from Duke Engineering Entrepreneurship (EngEn).

Eligibility
Applicants must be startup founders with a Duke Affiliation who satisfies one of the following requirements:
Duke faculty
Post-doctoral fellow
Graduate or undergraduate student
Duke alumni
Review Criteria
The BRiDGE Steering Committee reviews and scores applications using several factors, including overall progress towards technological and commercial milestones.
Please have the following information ready:
- Company information: name, product description, location, field of operation
- Contact: applicant information, founders, leadership team
- Idea: Elevator Pitch, unmet need, market evaluation
- Legal: entity status, IP agreements
- Funding details
- Visit the application
- Answer all questions
General questions not answered in the RFA about the proposals and the review process should be addressed to bridge@duke.edu before submission.
