All of the talks this week were very informative, and I enjoyed listing to all of them. There was a vast array of interesting topics that all offer new approaches finding out how find out more about our world. I for one especially Adam’s talk about ultrasensitvity in Crisper. I found his research very useful in being able to perfect a very popular gene knock out method, from a gradual response to a more all or nothing system.
This presentation caught my eye in particular because it seem to be improving a method that many other presentations stated as an integral part of their research. I saw that an improvement in this crisper technology could help achieve goals in various fields and focuses. I believe that projects such as these are some of the most important in the world of science. Perfecting methods that are an important part of many fields has a cascading effect that can be seen as the improvements are made. This is a perfect example as if he is able to succeed in his project then it is very possible that hundreds of future will be made possible with the new advancement.
It has always been extremely interesting the invention of new biotechnology, and for this the award of most interesting talk goes to Adam Yaseen.
