Dominic Wilkinson, DPhil is a physician and consultant neonatologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, and Director of Medical Ethics at the University of Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics. He writes about ethical issues in intensive care, and specifically decision making for critically ill children.
Brian Earp, MPhil is a Research Associate in Science and Ethics at the University of Oxford and a Visiting Scholar at the Hastings Center Bioethics Research Institute. He is an interdisciplinary researcher with training in cognitive science, experimental psychology, philosophy, history and sociology medicine, and ethics.
Hannah Maslen, DPhil is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ethics, working on the Oxford Martin Programme on Mind and Machine and a Junior Research Fellow at New College, Oxford. Her current research focuses on the ethical, legal and social implications of various brain intervention technologies.
Julian Savulescu, PhD is a physician and Director of the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford. His areas of research include the ethics of genetics; research ethics, especially ethics of embryo research; medical ethics, including end of life decision making, resource allocation, and other areas; and sports ethics.
Carissa Véliz is a DPhil student in Philosophy at Christ Church, Oxford and is Vice President of Academics Stand Against Poverty (ASAP) Spain. She works in moral and political philosophy, specifically in how habits influence moral and political life, the role of consent in violations of privacy, and in issues related to global justice.
Joshua Shepherd, PhD is a Post-Doctoral Researcher for the Oxford Centre for Neuroethics. His research interests are in the philosophy of mind, action, and moral psychology and he focuses on agency, in consciousness, in relationships between agency and consciousness, in the normative significance of consciousness, and in well-being.
