Dr. Andrew Murray, Ph.D. joined the Sipkins Lab in 2018 as a Postdoctoral Associate. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology & Human Biology from Michigan State University in 2012. He then undertook his PhD studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI to study the role of cell surface proteases in cancer development and progression. His current postdoctoral research involves studying how specific niche environments within the bone marrow mediate tumor cell proliferation/dormancy and chemoresistance.
