Position description:   

• Writes an original article for a bimonthly e-newsletter 
• Uses Tidbits to create a visual abstract for academic research papers 
• Consistently keeps yourself updated with global health updates and research papers 
• Writes/creates one of the newsletter features listed as follows:    

1. Disease/Global Health issues 
2. Visual Abstract of Research Papers (subjects include global/public health, public policy, environmental health, biomedicine, molecular biology, ecology, and genetics, etc.) 
3. DKU Global Health Research Publication 
4. Health and Wellness 
5. Public Policy 
6. Voice from the Field 
7. Mental Health/Psychology 

• Total work hour is 3-4 hours/month 

Qualification/experience:   

• Responsible, passionate, committed, and detail-oriented  
• Interested in communication, journalism, review 
• No prior journalism experience is required

• Total work hour is 5-6 hours/month   

Qualification/experience:   

• Responsible, creative, committed, and detail-oriented   
• Interested in translation and scientific journalism  
• Prior translation experience is a plus 

Position description:   

• Develops and manages the WordPress website of the project 
• Works in sync with the YLGH club’s social media platforms  
• Works on PR and digital initiative
• Develops an on-going Public Relations (PR) & Publicity plan in line with the YLGH club’s communications strategy 
• Total work hour is 4-5 hours/month

• Interested in communication, marketing, and public engagement  
• Prior social media platform management experience is a plus
