General Overview

Modeled after Emory Global Health Case Competitions, the one-week-long competition aims to promote global health education and application in solving the 21st-century global health crisis in a collaborative and competitive environment. The winning team will represent DKU to participate in Emory’s International Competition the next Spring. Eligible participants are any currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at Duke Kunshan University from any major fields.

Most frequent questions and answers

Since this is an intramural case competition, participants must be considered a DKU student to participate. This includes graduate students. 

Yes, if you are attending from a different time zone, you are welcome to participate online. For students who are on campus, you are strongly encouraged to participate in person. 

All students with interests and passion in combating global health challenges, regardless of their academic background, are welcome to participate.

Three to five, with students enrolled in at least two different majors. 

If you do not have a team, you can reach out to us via email and we will help set you up with other individual registers.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, there is no entrance fee.
