Tested chromosome X

According to a known list of mouse GSE27016_imprinted_genes.mm9 “imprinted” gene in a shorter version bed format, I am testing chromosome 12 since it was reported 27 imprinted genes.

With VMware virtual infrastructure, one might encounter three type of extension: ovf, ova, and wtf. What do they refer to? Here is a good post on this.

Now, seqware, which I used to be a developer has a new virtual machine image in ova format. Trying to use VMware ovftool to import/convert to VM format.

I hope this happens, that I can convert such a VM to a physical machine. Save plenty of hassles with this document and this.

The computer was configured as non-RAID, to reconfigure it to support RAID, do the following

1. Install extra internal hard drive
2. Go to BIOS, and turn on RAID
3. Download "IntelStorageMatrix" and install/enable it.
