I am a Professor in the Accounting area. I received my PhD in Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and have been on the Fuqua faculty since graduation. My research focuses on the determinants of disclosure and its economic consequences. I have explored how mandated disclosure of public information (e.g., through more frequent accounting reports) affects corporate investment choices. My more recent work explores the effect of transparency on the functioning and stability of the banking industry. I teach financial statement analysis in the Daytime MBA program.
