In May, Marissa won 1st place in the graduate student poster presentations at the Visiting Pulmonary Scholars symposium.
In March, Rob, Marissa, and Kaitlyn attended the Annual Society of Toxicology meeting. Marissa and Kaitlyn both had a successful presentation of their posters. Additionally, Kaitlyn won the Undergraduate Research Award.
Dr. Tighe recently gave a talk at Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute at the University of Louisville on “Mechanisms of Susceptibility in Pulmonary Responses to Air Pollution”
