NEURODEGENERATION

Postdoctoral Research Associate

A post-doctoral position is immediately available to study the role of autophagy in neurodegeneration in glaucoma using in vitro and in vivo models. Candidates with a recent PhD or MD/PhD, a strong research background in molecular cell biology and animal research experience, excellent skill in data analysis, ability to read literature, write manuscripts and give oral presentations are encouraged to apply. Research Tech II

A Research Technician II position is immediately available to study the role of autophagy in neurodegeneration in glaucoma. Responsibilities include: Conduct research experiments under minimal supervision in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols, preparation of research-related documents and data analysis, maintenance of standard laboratory equipment and supplies, and assisting in the development of new research procedures and techniques. Candidates must have a bachelor degree in Biology or similar, and 1-2 years research experience.
