NEWS: Optimizing Electrical Stimulation Therapies with Machine Learning

Published on September 3, 2024 – An ultra-fast model of a neuron’s response to electrical stimulation enables efficient design of nerve stimulation therapies. Neural engineers at Duke University have designed a computer model that makes it significantly easier to simulate nerve responses to electrical stimulation.  The researchers say this new tool will assist the design of more effective and targeted neuromodulation therapies.
