The Tatar Youth Scholarship is created to support Tatar youth residing in North America in their path to educate themselves and the community about their Tatar roots. The funds for the scholarship are fuelled from the Summit’s attendance fee and private individuals donations.

What project qualifies for the Tatar Youth Scholarship?
Any project (at any stages of initiation) that
- capitalizes on Tatar Identity / Tatar Language / Tatar Culture / Tatar History
- is meaningful for the applicant and, potentially, the Tatar community (local and/or global)
Who is eligible to apply?
Anyone who
- is between 14 and 30 years of age
- currently reside full time in North America
- is a Tatar language speaker (of any level)
- care about Tatar native language, culture, history
Who are the judges?
A team of volunteers who care about Tatar heritage and organize the Tatar Summit will judge each entry anonymously based on the cultural value proposition of the project. The information in the application form will be kept confidential.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced and their projects will be celebrated on December 16th, 2023 during the Tatar Summit. Applicants are encouraged to participate in the Summit (please register here).
