The SSoC Lab is always looking for Duke undergraduate students to volunteer as Research Assistants in our lab!

RAs assist in conducting experiments online and (if/when possible) in person, attend lab meetings, and clean and code data. They learn more about how social scientists conduct research, and depending on their interests, can also tackle advanced experimental programming, data analysis, or study design. RAs must be highly responsible, attentive to details, trustworthy, a “team player”, and able to work independently. Previous experience is not necessary. We are seeking volunteers who are willing to commit to at least a semester (and preferably a year).

We typically post new positions on Muser during their project posting cycles. But we are also open to hearing from interested students at any time – just contact us at ssoclab@duke.edu.
