Fashion week is one of the most exclusive events of the year, and the fashion industry itself can sometimes seem very elite and inaccessible. In my project, I wanted to capture the week in a series of bold and colorful outfits. The art style I chose is meant to contrast against the traditional sketch style that depicts fashion, which I find to be a little bit of an intimidating and “high” art form. I went for a playful style with bold lines and vibrant color palettes which you don’t traditionally see in fashion sketches.
