Faculty Remarks:
Meg is one of those students that every teacher feels lucky to have in class. She’s witty, incisive, and smart as a whip. She simply gets itfrom the first minute of the first class. Not only does she provide masterful readings of texts, but she also has this terrific quality of questioning the larger implications of works we read. In other words, Meg thinks big. She wants to know why someone wrote something, what people got out of reading it, and what value it holds today—and she wasn’t afraid of saying when there might not be any! Her truly formidable intellect would so often leave me inspired. As impressive as her intelligence is her passion. Whether dramaturging theatrical plays or thinking of ways to enhance arts education in her home state of Kentucky, she wants to inspire creativity in others. In short, Meg is a force of nature, and she’s going to make an impressionable mark on this world.
