About Me
Hi there, my name is Sarah! I’m a creative, hard-working, and passionate engineer who loves all things STEM. I have prior experience in Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Medical Imaging, Machine Learning/AI, and Injury Biomechanics research. In my free time, I like to try out new recipes in the kitchen, take my Tacoma off-roading and camping, and capture nature videos with my drone. I’m a life-long learner who loves to explore and try new things, whether that be at work or in my personal life.
In May 2024, I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Distinction. In May 2025, I will earn my Master’s of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Duke, with a certificate in Surgical Robotics. One of my favorite parts of my experience at Duke has been founding the Brain Injury Awareness Club, or BrainIAC—a club designed to spread awareness about brain injuries to the Durham community, as well as facilitate support groups for North Carolinian brain injury patients. This portfolio started as an assignment for my Advanced Design & Manufacturing class at Duke, but I have plans to populate it with more of my past/future projects.
