Recurring Events

• Teams Group: Our Microsoft Teams group, in addition to a general announcement channel, has two additional channels:
  • Question of the Week: every Friday, share your thoughts from favorite snacks and workspaces to weekend activities and current reads.
  • Open Chat: for casual conversations of topics started by anyone!
• Coffee Breaks: Held biweekly on Thursdays (2:00PM – 2:30PM), these Zoom sessions are intended to be casual and informal chats with your fellow remote colleagues. The Zoom link is available in our Teams channel and reminders are sent out to our email list. You can see when the next session is by viewing our event calendar.
• Programming Events: Our goal is to hold quarterly programming events geared towards remote workers from a variety of different guest speakers presenting on different topics. Sessions will be recorded when possible, and will be available for replay in our Teams channel. We will also compile and share any materials that guest speakers are willing to share with us. Future events will be added to our event calendar. Events held to date include:
  • April 11, 2025: LIVE FOR LIFE information session for remote employees.
  • June 18, 2025: Learning and Professional Development opportunities on Duke’s LMS
  • July 1, 2025: LIVE FOR LIFE Stress Management session for remote employees.
