Isaiah, your project sounds really interesting! It’s always important to think about healthcare in other cultural contexts. I wish you the best of luck in conducting more interviews soon!
This is a really interesting topic and project! As someone who is interested in healthcare, it’s refreshing to see healthcare being studied in places around the world and not just the US. I’m interested to know though: how do you see this project playing a role in the lives of African migrants in the end? Could this research possibly advocate for healthcare for all documented/undocumented migrants or to encourage lawmakers to address the inability of undocumented migrants to receive full access healthcare? Additionally, have you seen advantages/disadvantages in having healthcare access be managed locally rather than nationally?
