Teagan Smith began working with C.J. Ford Private Investigations during the global Black Lives Matter movements this summer. She advocates for the exoneration of wrongfully convicted black and brown men, constructing and publicizing a company platform aligning with such values.

  1. This seems like an amazing way to get involved in the fight for racial justice! During your internship, did you have any impactful communication with the inmates the organization is working with? Did any of your interactions with the inmates or while working on their cases stand out to you?

I found it really interesting how you are working on media, specifically the commercial. How is that going and what do you take into account as you create these?
