Hartwell Fellow
$100,000 over two years ($50k per year)
For post-docs doing biomedical research. Internal deadline is May 15. Duke must choose one nominee, who will be funded as this year’s Hartwell Fellow.

Hartwell Individual Biomedical Research Award
$300,000 over three years ($100k per year)
For junior faculty (MDs and assistant professors preferred) doing translational biomedical research that is relevant to children’s health. Internal deadline is June 10. Duke must choose three nominees, at least one of whom must hold an MD, whose full proposals are due by September 15.
