Summary: NIAID Grant Writing Webinar Series from February 22, 2024, to July 18, 2024.
Who?: The webinar series is open to all, with emphasis on early career researchers – graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, fellows, and junior faculty.
What?: A series of 6 webinars discussing how to navigate your NIH grant application. The webinars will provide information on the funding opportunities for early career researchers at NIAID, navigating the F, K, DP2, and R38/K38 awards, and understanding the peer review process.
Why?: To help early career researchers plan for and write their first (or next) NIH grant application.
Next?: Register for the webinar series here. The webinar series will be held on Zoom from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM Eastern Time. The dates and topics for each session are as follows:

  • Session 1: Opportunities for Early-Career Investigators – February 22, 2024
  • Session 2: Navigating NIH to prepare your grant application – F awards – March 21, 2024
  • Session 3: Navigating NIH to prepare your grant application – K awards – April 18, 2024
  • Session 4: Developing your candidate information section and research strategy for F and K awards – May 23, 2024
  • Session 5: Navigating NIH to prepare your grant application – DP2/R38/K38 awards – June 20, 2024
  • Session 6: Understanding the Peer Review process – July 18, 2024
