With project development, it is important to make note of all members who make a contribution to your project and their role and scope. Two defining fields are development stakeholders and implementation stakeholders.
- Development Stakeholders: Members in a client’s organization, panel, champions, or leadership
- Implementation Stakeholders: Individuals directly involved with the process of implementation of your project
Once your manager and other stakeholders agree that your project is a great idea, consider submitting a project consultation request as we will work with you to refine your project and match your project outcomes with potential data resources. Know that your scope of practice may limit some access to data and further leadership approval and IRB determinations may be required. If the project requires these additional steps, follow these directions (below the template).
If IRB approval is needed, please Submit a Project Consultation. A project consultation will allow the DUHS Nursing Research + EBP to review the documents in detail and the required steps for leadership and compliance approval.
