Council Charter
The DUHS Nursing Research and EBP Council, in partnership with the DUSON and Watts College of Nursing, will:
• Drive continuous learning, innovation, dissemination, and translation of discoveries
• Support the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and outcome-focused patient-centered care across the health system and community
The DUHS Nursing Research and EBP Council promotes Research and EBP by:
• Supporting the development of knowledge and skills
• Facilitating implementation and translation
• Assisting in dissemination (abstracts, publications, posters, and presentations)
• Exploring possible funding sources
This charter is in alignment with and supportive of the DUHS Nursing Mission & Vision, Strategic Plan, Professional Practice Model, DUSON Center for Nursing Research, Watts College of Nursing Mission & Vision, and DANCE Mission & Vision.
