Advancing Leadership for Environmental Impact

The Master of Environmental Management (MEM) is a two-year professional degree designed for students who aspire to shape sustainable solutions across diverse sectors.

MEM students explore a range of concentrations, including energy and climate, ecosystem science and conservation, environmental economics, and policy, and work closely with faculty and peers to design an academic experience aligned with their goals.

NRFI-affiliated MEM students focus on the financial and policy dimensions of natural resources management, learning how to mobilize investment and policy frameworks that support sustainability and conservation.

The program emphasizes:

  • Interdisciplinary learning across environmental science, economics, and management.

  • Professional skill development for real-world environmental leadership.

  • Applied experience through internships and Master’s Projects.

Program Concentrations

Students will pick one environmental concentration and one management concentration, totaling 4 courses, or 12 credits, in each of their two selected concentrations.
