What is the Muslim ERG?
The Muslim Employee Resource Group (ERG), which is open to all employees, seeks to foster a diverse, inclusive, and safe place aligned with Duke’s mission and values. We are committed to creating an environment that gives employees the chance to celebrate our diversity, beliefs, culture, and authenticity within the Duke community.
Who can be a member of the ERG? How can I join?
Membership is open to all current Duke University or DUHS employees in good standing (no active correction action) who support the goals of the Employee Resource Group. To join the conversation, please Contact Us or submit a Muslim ERG Interest Form.
Who is the target audience?
While the group is open to all, the focus of activities will be to create a platform for other Muslim employees and allies as an opportunity to unite and empower each other. We will work to address Islamophobia and other prejudices by establishing and upholding the positive and caring culture that Islam teaches.
