Register your student here
We are so excited to host you on Saturday, April 5th, 10:00 AM—2:00 PM for a totally fun and educational day. Here is some useful information to help you with registration, location, and how to navigate the day on campus. We can’t wait!
Who: Local grade school students accompanied by an adult.
What: A fun fair of demo booths and lab tours designed for middle school students, but welcome to K-12 graders accompanied by an adult. Duke students, faculty, and staff will lead booths and tours.
When: Saturday, April 5th, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: We have the entire FCIEMAS Atrium reserved for the day. It can be tricky navigating campus. We will provide maps and signs when possible to make things easier. Free parking passes for Bryan Research Garage, a short walk along Research Drive from FCIEMAS, will be available if you request one during registration. When you arrive at the garage, tell the attendant you are here for LLL Day and the FIP Centennial Symposium, and they will direct you. Other parking may be available elsewhere on campus but may include an hourly rate.
Why: As engineers and scientists at Duke, we are responsible for sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm for STEM with the next generation, especially in our local Durham community. We love having this chance to share what we do with you.
