Beyond the tools: Summer 2020 Reading Group for Language and Digital Pedagogy.
The goal of this reading group is to explore critical pedagogy, multimodal communication, and translingual practices in light of the unique challenges and potentials that next semester will present. We are interested in convening a group of language educators who want to participate in a casual reading group constructed around texts that consider online pedagogy beyond the tools. Thanks to Sandra Valnes Quammen for proposing the idea of the reading group and co-writing this description.
