Chinese Table
Get ready to mingle and immerse yourself in Chinese! Our Chinese Tables are running weekly in the fall and spring semesters, offering a fantastic chance to enjoy your lunch or dinner while practicing your conversational skills. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to polish your fluency, this is the perfect opportunity to engage with faculty and fellow students in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Bring your meals and let’s chat in Chinese—everyone is welcome! We meet on Fridays at noon or on Wednesday evenings from 6-7p.m. in the Brodhead Center. Mesa en español is a Spanish language group that meets every week during the academic year. It is open to all Duke students and the broader community at all levels of proficiency. All are welcome to come and join in the casual conversation and cultural exchange in a relaxed setting that encourages interaction and discovery. Come practice your Spanish among friends!

Spanish Conversation Club
Are you interested in speaking the second-most spoken and studied language in the United States? Practice your conversational Spanish and meet people from around the world, including native Spanish speakers. Our conversations are informal and interesting.
We meet every Monday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 p.m. at the Duke International Student Center (Second Floor of Bay 5, Smith Warehouse, 114 South Buchanan Boulevard)

Duke ASL is Duke University’s American Sign Language club. We run weekly lessons during the semester as well as additional cultural and activism-related events.
