Eligibility Requirements
Students applying to HPREP should:
– Be a high school student in grades 9–11.
– Demonstrate a strong interest in healthcare sciences.
– Be able to attend at least 6 out of 8 program sessions.
Application Components
To apply, all students must submit:
1. Professional resume with extracurricular activities
2. Responses to the following essay prompts:
– In 3-4 sentences, tell us why you are interested in participating in HPREP.
– In no more than 300 words, describe a fictional character, historical figure, or creative work (art, music, science, etc.) that has impacted your perspective of healthcare, potential career choices, or life goals.
4. Unofficial transcript or grades from your school’s online portal – screenshot(s) or picture(s)
