Researchers at Duke University can apply to use samples and data collected as part of Project HOPE 1000 to answer different research questions. Additionally, they may contact Project HOPE 1000 participants to see if they would like to participate in related studies about early life health and well-being. Below, we have provided descriptions of studies that work with Project HOPE 1000:
“The MOMMA Study”
Duke researchers are investigating associations between prenatal health and early brain development. The MOMMA study involves a one-time magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan during you third trimester of pregnancy. During the MRI scan, we will take pictures of your developing baby’s brain. Compensation is provided. If you want to learn more, please contact Elizabeth Rafannelo.
