Study teams may apply to use de-identified samples and data for their study by providing the following documents:
- Specific aims page (1-page), describing the goals of the proposed work.
- Details of any planned biospecimen use, including type of specimen, timepoints, and required volumes (as applicable).
- Details of all planned analysis of specimens and/or study data, including power calculations.
- A plan for returning data to the Project HOPE 1000 study.
- Information about the study team members; please note, that all studies must include a Duke faculty member.
- Information about how your work will be funded and whether you are applying for external funding.
Applications are reviewed by the Project HOPE 1000 Scientific Advisory Board and must obtain appropriate IRB approvals before initiation of any study activities.
