  • Key Eligibility:
  • 1. Must be a Durham Public Schools high school student during the 2025-2026 academic year (Students from the following schools will be considered: Durham School of the Arts, The School for Creative Studies, City of Medicine Academy, Durham School of Technology, Hillside High School, Middle College High School, Jordan High School, J.D. Clement Early College, Northern High School, Riverside High School, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability)
  • 2. Students representing diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are especially encouraged to apply. 
  • 3. Students who applied in previous years but were not accepted are encouraged to apply.

Schedule for the 2025-2026 Program:

Module 1 – College and Career Development: October 22 through December 3, 2025, Weekly sessions on Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:30pm (dinner provided).

Module 2 – Environment and Health in NC: January through April 2026, weekly Saturday sessions from 10am-4pm (lunch provided). Specific dates to come if you are accepted. 

If you’re interested in the program but can’t make module 1, still apply! We’d love to have you for module 2.
