The University of Georgia is actively recruiting for its Future Faculty for Inclusive Research Excellence postdoctoral training program, and we have added many new faculty mentors who are eager to recruit new postdocs. Briefly, the FFIRE program:
- is a 2-year research and professional development program for postdoctoral scholars with diverse perspectives and backgrounds who are pursuing academic careers,
- matches postdocs with faculty mentors who have demonstrated a commitment to excellent and inclusive mentoring, and
- offers a $60,000 annual salary and full benefits along with integrated professional development and travel funding.
We will start reviewing applications in early April and invite finalists to interview in May. Please reach out to Shelley Hooks in the UGA Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (opa@uga.edu) if you have any questions.
