Become a Science Communication Fellow
The Provost Office and Duke Science & Society have sponsored the creation of a new modular Science Communication curriculum. We are seeking 3 PhD students to train on the materials, assist with the pilot course taught this spring, and develop skills to lead future workshops, clubs, and courses taught to undergraduate and graduate students.
Dr. Brian Southwell of RTI International has developed a syllabus including video material, readings, lectures, and in-class exercises. He will pilot the material this Spring 2023 in a seminar style class for the MA in Bioethics & Science Policy program taking place on Thursdays at 10:15-11:45am.
Interested candidates must have approval to participate from their Director of Graduate Studies. Please apply via JobX #5590 Science Communication Teaching Assistant: https://duke.studentemployment.ngwebsolutions.com/jobxJobdetailPrint.aspx?JobId=5590&win=True
