Cornell University: Migrations Summer Institute

We invite advanced graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early career scholars to apply now for the inaugural Migrations summer institute, “Cartographies of Racial Justice Beyond Borders: Territories of Dispossession and Migration.

From July 12 to 23, 25 participants will join a collaborative virtual space that engages with critical race theory, global migration studies, and speculative design to map the terrain of the future of global racial justice. A stipend of $2,000 supports each participant as they join workshops, converse with leading migration and racial justice experts, and produce creative materials like a collaborative digital map and podcast.

Learn more about this institute, hosted by the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies and Migrations: A Global Grand Challenge. Applications are due on May 7.
