It is that time of year again where RIT is putting out the call for applications for our annual Future Faculty Career Exploration Program. I am writing to request your help in sharing this announcement with your scholars. The Rochester Institute of Technology’s Future Faculty Career Exploration Program is currently accepting applications for the 2021 Cohort – https://bit.ly/3bNQTPA
This program is a rigorous four-day program designed for African American, Latino American, and Native American scholars and artists to experience a “behind the scenes” glimpse into life as a faculty member at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Participants will spend time learning from and networking with RIT administration, faculty and students, practicing their interview skills and job-talk presentation – all while exploring the research, teaching and service expectations of RIT faculty.
I encourage you to share this announcement with your program’s students, alumni, postdoc scholars and fellows, and any others who might be interested in exploring a career at RIT. I have attached a flyer with additional details for you to share. This is a competitive application process. The application deadline is March 15. Please let me know if you have any questions about the program or RIT. I appreciate you helping us reach potential applicants.
Best regards,
Lorraine
