Taya Corosdale

Hi everyone, my name is Taya Corosdale (pronounced Tay-uh Cores-dale). I am from the greater Seattle area. I am a first year Master’s student here at Duke in the GLS program. I also play on the women’s basketball team here at Duke. I previously was at Oregon State playing basketball and getting my undergraduate degree in Human development and family sciences with a minor in Leadership. I aspire to be an Occupational Therapist and work with youth with disabilities. I’ve been passionate in working with disabled youth since I was a little girl and have always enjoyed helping those who have disabilities. I look forward to learning many different domains within GLS so that I can be diverse in my knowledge to be able to cater to different populations. I look forward to learning from the professors and other students within this program!!

We’re going to make a GLS 2022 playlist on Spotify. Please recommend a song to include that speaks to how YOU feel as you embark on this new learning journey. It could be something that you’re listening to a lot now or a longtime favorite that captures the moment for you.
Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen

Coming to the Duke GLS program, I hope to ultimately help me learn more ways that I can help others by making connections with my peers and professors.
