  1. What do you do to support students interested in Entrepreneurship? 
    Team formation is one of the most critical aspects of building a successful start-up.  We look to bring together like-minded people who are passionate about problem-solving and creatively targeting business opportunities through their time at Fuqua throughout the coursework and experiential learning process.  There are also a number of industry-specific programs available that we post about regularly in our weekly newsletter.
  2. What do you do to support students interested in Venture Capital?
    We run info sessions, training workshops, provide Q&A with current VCs, and provide second-year mentors for your recruiting process.  Additionally, we nurture relationships with a number of local VC firms who regularly bring on student interns during the school year and summer.
  3. What resources do I have access to as a student?
    A broad network of mentors throughout the Fuqua and greater Duke community.  Additionally, all of the databases on Ford Library for market research reports, pitchbooks, and Bloomberg terminals.

  • Student Founder Program: Coaching to support all Duke students who are interested in creating a product or service, testing a pilot, and someday launching their own venture—whether commercial, social, artistic, or beyond

  • Summer E-ternship: Students who opt to pursue a venture during the summer in lieu of a paid internship may be eligible for financial support
  • Loan Assistance Awards: Fuqua Entrepreneurship Grant offers student loan assistance to graduating Fuqua students who have actively contributed to I&E programs
