Business in Africa aims to educate Fuqua’s student body about the business opportunities that exist in Africa and support the development of club members. We accomplish this by undertaking the following initiatives:
- Professional Development
- We are committed to enhancing the understanding of business in Africa. We organize workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and guest speaker series, where members gain valuable insights into the current business landscape, emerging trends, and potential career opportunities in Africa
- Admissions Support
- We actively engage with prospective students from Africa who are interested in joining Team Fuqua. We provide guidance through webinars, coffee chats, application reviews, mock interviews, and more to ensure the journey to Fuqua is smooth
- Social Events
- We provide a welcoming and inclusive space for members who share a connection to Africa or a keen interest in the continent. We aim to facilitate connections and foster community and belongingness at Fuqua
- Cultural Education
- We are dedicated to educating our fellow students and the broader community about Africa. We strive to enhance the visibility of Africa within Fuqua and to ignite enthusiasm for engagement in Africa
