Flexible Affordable Scalable Technology for Research Storage (FAST)

The overall goal of the FASTResearch Storage project and the resulting storage system is to relieve researchers from having to manage data storage on their own and to do so in a costeffective manner. Systematic collection and management of both generic and projectspecific metadata about all data objects is integral to the project.
