Here you can download lecture slides as they are made available. Climate change science is a rapidly advancing field. I reserve the right to post new and updated versions of these slides the morning before lectures. You will be notified via e-mail, if a new version is available.
“As in Lecture” format means this is the slide set you saw in class. Many of these slides are multi-layered and therefore not conducive to viewing outside of slideshow mode and are not good for printing.
“Flattened” format are versions of “as in lecture” slides but with the multilayering removed, providing “flat” single layer slides. This means some single slides in the “as in lecture” set are here represented by multiple slides. These are good for printing.
“PDF” format is of the “flattened” slide set.
Some Mac-users might run into incompatibilities with graphic formatting in some slide sets. This is usually expressed as blank or monochromatic images, and incorrect motion paths of objects. There is, of yet, no known fix for this “mistranslation” issue between PC-made slides and Mac-versions of Powerpoint. The PDF format slides do not suffer from this incompatibility.
