Location
The location for in-person activities on Duke’s campus will be announced in Spring 2025.
Parking
Visitor Parking: The nearest visitor parking is the Bryan Center Lot/Visitor Parking Deck (map), with a rate of $2 per hour. However, the Bryan Center Lot is likely to fill up, so an alternative option for those visiting our campus is to park at the Science Drive Visitor Lot (map). From there, you may either walk approximately half a mile to Penn Pavilion or take the free campus bus service. We recommend the Lancaster Commons (“LNC” – schedule here) route; you would board the northbound bus at the Science Drive Garage stop (you must cross Science Drive for this stop) and depart approximately 5 minutes later at the Science Drive Circle stop.
Additional information about visitor parking is available from Duke Parking & Transportation.
Duke Faculty/Staff/Student Parking: For Duke faculty, staff and students who do not have on-campus parking, in addition to the visitor options outlined above, you may also purchase an occasional parking permit for several of the permitted lots on campus. We recommend the Chemistry lot, which is approximately a half mile walk from Penn Pavilion, but there are several other options to choose from.
Airport & Transportation to Campus
The nearest airport to Duke University is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Public transportation in Durham is limited; we recommend that you plan to take a taxi, rental car, or ride-share (e.g. Uber, Lyft) from the airport and when traveling around Durham.

There are many hotels available in Durham and throughout the Triangle for you to choose from for your stay. Here is a selection for your consideration:

- The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club (on campus, 0.8 mi from venue)
- Hilton Garden Inn Durham/University Medical Center (near campus, 1.3 mi from venue, hotel shuttle)
