Description
Metal flute made with metal, cork, and pads. Inscription on the barrel joint: “Bohem’s / Carte’s Mechanism”. Indicates the hybrid nature of this 1851 flute model by Carte with Boehm’s 1847 model (see: 1847 Boehm system flute)
